JOB SUMMARY:

The LSS Lighting Account Executive is a commissioned role responsible for: - Supporting the growth of Lighting Services in a Georgia Power Region - Cultivating profitable sales as well as increase customer loyalty by supplying world-class customer service to our customers - Coordinating the interaction between sales, operations, and maintenance to ensure customer satisfaction - Proactively selling lighting systems in the region by - generating and responding to leads - making cold calls - responding to customer requests, designing lighting systems, providing job packets, and working with contractors for job installations - effectively establishing business relationships, providing lighting expertise to internal and external customers, and applying cost control measures that ensure profitable sales.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree is preferred
Technical sales experience preferred
Technical experience preferred (Engineering, Distribution, Lighting Design)
Experience working in the lighting industry (manufacturers, manufacturers’ representatives, installers, etc.) is preferred
Knowledge and/or experience with Southern Company Software is preferred (distribution mapping software (i.e. Distview, CSS, LAMP, etc.)
Experience and proficiency using Microsoft suite of products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.) is preferred
Construction experience is a plus
Project management experience is a plus Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of outdoor lighting design, products, and pricing
Ability to successfully operate in an intensely competitive environment with specific profit and loss expectations
Strong entrepreneurial skills
Excellent negotiation skills with emphasis on contract negotiations
Excellent interpersonal skills, highly motivated, versatile
Ability to work on multiple projects, across various functional groups effectively.

MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ability to generate and respond to customer request for outdoor lighting, including:
Meet with customers and determine lighting needs
Design systems to meet customers’ need
Estimate cost, order material and support customer billing
Stake jobs for accurate installation of material and create a job package for the engineer
Interact with our distribution mapping system to create construction prints and drawings - Access CSS to obtain account information relating to customers’ lighting, entering case notes and repair orders as well as updating customer information
Utilize the LAMP tool to develop pricing, proposals, and customer contracts
Utilize the Oracle Sales Cloud for sales tracking
