Application Analyst


The Technology Organization (TO) Application Analyst position will be part of the Marketing Portfolio, responsible for providing support to Marketing and Sales solutions across all operating companies. Position responsibilities include all aspects of production support, solution delivery, and managing customer relationships. The position will work with a variety of organizations which will require excellent interpersonal, communication, customer service, time management, planning, and organizational skills. Strong analysis and problem solving skills are critical. In addition, this position is responsible for the strategy, roadmap, planning, architecture, development and sustainment of applications, integrations and business processes, in support of multiple business units using the Marketing and Sales enterprise platforms. This position will work with Business Stakeholders, Developers, DBAs, Analysts and other Architects to design, build, and maintain marketing and sales platforms required to support business processes and business applications and integrations. In addition, this position will lead and coordinate technical development activities for integrations.

The incumbent is expected to be highly knowledgeable and experienced with modern data and integration architecture – including cloud solutions and agile implementation deployment. The position requires leadership skills necessary to coordinate and direct developers and other analysts in day to day operations to achieve the desired work efforts. The incumbent will participate and provide technical leadership in all states of a data solution life cycle.



BS/BA in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering or other Technical degree required


  • Extensive experience with implementing, integrating and supporting technology solutions

  • Experience developing applications with Microsoft .Net, Java, and other platforms preferred

  • Experience with implementing Cloud solutions preferred

  • Experience with Agile implementation methodology preferred

  • Ability to build relationships and work with all levels of management, vendors, and other internal and external groups

  • Experience leading and managing technology projects including coordinating resources and tasks across multiple teams and business units


  • Knowledge and understanding of software development technologies, methodology and associated tools

  • Advanced knowledge of C# and the .NET framework

  • Experience working with either Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle.

  • Experience working with Microsoft or Oracle Cloud solutions

  • Experience with delivering solutions via Agile methodology

  • Understanding of service oriented architectures

  • Experience with Microsoft Access and Excel Skills

  • Excellent root cause analysis & problem solving skills

  • Strong technical writing skills preferred

  • Strong project management skills including the ability to effectively organizes tasks, manages multiple priorities/details, and meets tight deadlines

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Effective consulting skills with proven ability to influence others

  • Builds productive relationships with a focus on cooperation & teamwork


  • Develop, implement, integrate, and/or support technology solutions in a manner that meets or exceeds customer expectations for quality, cost, and timeliness

  • Communicate effectively and timely with customers, team members, and management

  • Provide timely, consistent, effective production application support

  • Build effective relationships with peers, management, and customers

  • Ensure required documentation for projects is developed

  • Adhere to Change Management policies and procedures

  • Respond/Resolve quickly & effectively to all operational problems
