Environmental Affairs Lab Analyst - Dosimetry
This position will provide dosimetry processing activities in support of work at nuclear facilities, environmental monitoring programs, and other tasks using radioactive materials.

BS degree in Biology, Chemistry or related science.
Must be able to work within a team environment.
Laboratory experience with handling, preparing, and processing dosimetry devices per National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP).
Understanding of NRC Radiation Protection guidelines.
Must be detail-oriented, self-directed and possess superior organizational skills.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with quality control requirements for processing methods.
Computer proficiency using instrument and data management software.
Ability to use technical procedures to perform analyses and solve technical issues for customers.
Be able to successfully complete FBI Background Check / Fingerprinting so to handle radioactive material.
Work safely, identify and implement corrective actions for unsafe working conditions;
Partner with customers to provide cost effective processing services for compliance reporting to help ensure the Company maintains compliance with regulatory requirements.
Prepare and process dosimeters and interpret results according to operating procedures and applicable standards (NVLAP);
Establish and evaluate instrument and process quality control;
Serve as technical expert and project manager for processing services, which involves working with internal customers, accreditation agencies and regulatory groups to provide cost-effective compliance solutions.
Conduct diverse complex dosimetry processing and related tasks using laboratory instrumentation and processing methodology; ensure processing methods comply with accreditation and regulatory requirements.

Ability to interface with a variety of internal/external work groups and plant personnel, as well as with regulatory or external agencies.
