Position: Oracle Cloud Security Specialist
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Oracle Cloud Security Specialist to join our team. This role involves a blend of planning, assessing, designing, and implementing IT security measures specifically tailored to the security needs of Oracle ERP Cloud environments. The focus areas include, but are not limited to, security configuration, segregation of duties, and controls over business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct IT security assessments, design, and implementation services for Oracle ERP Cloud, focusing on security configurations, segregation of duties, and business process controls.
Assess the design and effectiveness of Oracle security roles and automated controls across key business process cycles.
Collaborate with clients to pinpoint and enhance security and control opportunities within both on-premises and Cloud Oracle settings.
Engage in mentoring within the security team, fostering knowledge sharing and professional growth.
Oversee compliance monitoring and Information Assurance (IA) activities to safeguard data against unauthorized access, use, disruption, and modification.
Address security implications of Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM applications' monthly and quarterly releases through development and execution of test scripts for impact assessment and remediation.
Create and implement security processes and procedures for Oracle Cloud ERP, EPM, and compliance frameworks.
Liaise with Application Security Administrators, third-party system administrators, Project Leadership, and users.
Lead and manage the Security Team, driving the implementation of security solutions.
Represent the Enterprise Foundation’s organization in the Southern Company internal security governance team.
Requirements:
Proficient knowledge of Oracle ERP Cloud security design and implementation, including Oracle business processes (e.g., purchase-to-pay, record-to-report, order-to-cash), user provisioning, and change management processes.
Understanding of internal controls within Oracle Applications and the balance between user enablement and control establishment.
Solid grasp of Segregation of Duties (SOD), personally identifiable information (PII), and Internal Controls.
Familiarity with standard business processes, user provisioning, and security maintenance processes is preferred.
At least two years of recent experience in implementing ERP Financial applications, preferably with a focus on Oracle Cloud ERP applications security.
Comprehensive knowledge of Single Sign-on (SSO) and Multi-factor authentication (MFA).
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or Business, or equivalent experience.
Preferred:
Oracle Risk Management Cloud Certified Implementation Specialist Certification a plus
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Certifications, such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), or CA (Chartered Accountant) are considered a plus
Project or team lead experience preferred
