Risk & Governance Manager - Nuclear Development



This position reports directly to the Project Oversight Director and is responsible for the overall Owners Risk Management Program, coordination for all internal audits and governance reviews for the Vogtle 3 & 4 project


  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, engineering or accounting is required unless specific knowledge and experience can be demonstrated.

  • 2 to 3 years of relevant experience preferred.


  • Owners Risk Management Program for Vogtle 3 & 4

  • Oversight of SNC Risk Management Program

  • Help create and/or apply models to identify, measure, and monitor the possible risks associated with the Vogtle 3&4 project

  • Perform quantitative studies to support risk management policies

  • Analyze risk management results and reports. Provide ad-hoc risk analytics and valuation.

  • Analyze product offerings to ensure all risk components are identified and appropriately monitored.

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of risk policies.

  • Governance liaison to Southern Company internal auditing

  • Interface w/ Change Control Board
