Joint Use & Revenue Reporting – Accountant
This position will be responsible for participating in the monthly closing process for revenue reporting by preparing and/or approving journals timely and accurately. This position will also provide income and balance sheet analysis information for monthly management reports and meetings. This position will be responsible for preparing monthly and quarterly financial information and reports for revenue reporting, affiliated transactions, miscellaneous billings, and energy services. Also, this position will be responsible for the overhead calculation. Other duties include reconciling accounts, researching accounting issues, executing and testing internal controls, working with internal and external auditors and maintaining appropriate documentation. This position will be responsible for meeting established reporting deadlines.

Job Experience and Education
4 Year college degree in Accounting required
Knowledge of key systems (Oracle, Power Plant, FERC Program, AVM, SOFIA, SARA) and Microsoft Office products preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of Accounting rules and regulations, including GAAP, FERC and SEC
Ability to analyze and research accounting issues
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Good oral and written communication skills to be able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Ability to be flexible and adapt to change
Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously to meet established deadlines.
