Description
PowerSecure is hiring a Sr. Team Lead-Shipping team. This is an onsite position located at our Durham, NC facility. This individual will be responsible for managing daily receiving and shipping operations. Will be the one to ensure complete orders are shipped in a timely and safe manner. Responsible for overseeing crane operations and Internal Logistics.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
One year of team leader or supervisor experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of inventory control.
Able to manage multiple tasks concurrently
Ability to meet project schedules and maintain contingency plans
Understand workflows in production and prioritize work
Essential Functions
Use Master Schedule to track, check and prioritize Product Close Out and Shipping.
Demonstrate and champion a Safety culture
Prepare reception area to receive incoming cargoes
Direct the flow of packages after shipment
Inspect labels and other features of completed orders
Supervise and lead subordinates (shipping & receiving Technicians, shipping & receiving Leads)
Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing, manufacturing and other managers to optimize processes
Ensure compliance to safety regulations and company policies
Report to management on activities and issues
All other duties as assigned
