Southern Company Licensed Electrician in Fayetteville, North Carolina


PowerSecure is seeking a Licensed Electrician to join our Energy Efficiency Services division. Initial project is locally based in Fayetteville, NC. After completion of project, additional work may be available if you are willing to travel extensively across the USA.

The Licensed Electrician is responsible for performing the installation of lighting systems in accordance with the design and direction provided by the lighting Project Supervisor. In addition to installation, the licensed electrician will spend approximately 25% of their time overseeing the team's installation process.


  • High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required

  • Minimum state-issued Journeyman or Master Electrical Licensing (Any state will meet this requirement)

  • Must pass a drug test and background check

  • Must have a valid government issued ID to present at project facilities (expired IDs are not acceptable)

  • Electrical lighting industry experience preferred

  • OSHA 10 preferred
