Southern Company HVAC Pipe Fitter Foreman in Washington, District Of Columbia
THIS IS A TRAVELING POSITION! PowerSecure is looking for our next team of HVAC Pipe Fitter Foremen. Our next project is in Washington, DC; however, future projects could be in other states.
In addition to traveling, you may be required to work either 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift depending on the requirements of the project. We are looking for a HVAC Pipe Fitter Foreman who oversees the mechanical project for pipefitting needs with the ability to measure, order, fabricate and install HVAC equipment while supervising installers and maintaining a safe workplace. OSHA 30 training is a big plus! Must be a "Champion" for safe work practices.
High school diploma or GED
Minimum of 5 years in the pipe fitting trade installing
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Foreman position
Must be able to coordinate installation schedules with project manager, customer, and subcontractors
Completion of an Apprenticeship program is a plus but not required
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, construction drawings, project specifications and equipment submittals
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure , using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. frequently.
