Administrative Assistant- Plant Vogtle 1&2- Operations
Job Responsibilities
The individual will:
Coordinate the administrative needs for the Operations Director and Plant Manager
Facilitate the in-processing of new and supplemental workers for Operations Department personnel during both outage and non-outage periods
Process training records and other quality assurance (QA) in accordance with SNC procedures, ensuring completeness, timely entry into the document management system
Proctor LMS and NANTeL training exams for Operations department and supplemental personnel/contractors, when required
Qualify and maintain required qualifications to perform assigned duties (e.g., backup Department Training Coordinator, NANTeL Online Proctor, Quality Assurance Records Coordinator, etc.)
Assist with other Operations Department support tasks which may be assigned such as:
Department financial budget - projecting expenses, reviewing expenses and reporting, when assigned.
Department invoice reconciliation - reviewing and processing invoices for payment, when assigned.
Software report generation - Microsoft’s POWERBI, SQL, NORAD, if assigned.
The successful candidate must be adept at SAP SuccessFactors software administration; Proficient using the Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. Use of Maximo, and Documentum software will be required. The individual must be able to quickly learn new programs. This position requires good communication skills with customers: primarily personnel in the Operations Department, Management, and Training Departments.
Education Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required
Associate degree or higher preferred
Experience Requirements
Experience administrating learning management system software is required (SAP SuccessFactors software experience is preferred).
Microsoft Office Proficiency is required.
Experience in managing department budget to provide monthly/yearly projections is preferred.
Experience coordinating large group schedules is preferred.
Three (3) years industrial Operations experience is preferred.
One (1) year commercial nuclear power experience is preferred.

Testing Requirements
• Candidate must qualify on both the SHL Clerical Test, and if invited, a Microsoft Office Skills Test
Other Requirements
- Any applicant accepting this position will be required to meet background and screening and NRC Fitness for Duty requirements for Unescorted Authorized Access to commercial nuclear power facilities.
